A glass expandable container house combines a folding transport format with a wider layout when opened on site. The glazed side brings natural light into the interior and creates views toward the surrounding landscape.
Explore layouts for a holiday cabin, guest accommodation, resort unit, or display space. Use the size references below to compare options, then send YJD your preferred layout and destination for a quotation.
A glazed side allows daylight into the living space. Plan furniture and partitions around the glass to make the most of the layout.
Position the glazed side toward a garden, terrace, or scenic outlook when planning guest accommodation or a holiday unit.
The side sections open after delivery to create a wider interior. Select a room arrangement that suits your intended use.
Include curtains, external shading, or privacy-glass preferences in your brief. These choices help balance views, privacy, and sunlight.
Compare the expandable series sizes below when planning your space. These are series references; the glass-side model's final dimensions are specified in the approved drawing.
| Nominal Size | Approx. Footprint | Expanded Exterior (L × W × H) | Folded Exterior (L × W × H) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 20 ft | 37 m² | 5,900 × 6,270 × 2,480 mm | 5,900 × 2,200 × 2,480 mm |
| 30 ft | 56 m² | 9,000 × 6,270 × 2,480 mm | 9000× 2200 × H2480mm |
| 40 ft | 74 m² | 11,800 × 6,270 × 2,480 mm | 11,800 × 2,200 × 2,480 mm |
Footprint is calculated from the expanded exterior length and width and rounded. It is not the internal usable floor area. Glazing, interior fit-out, and exterior additions affect the final specification and shipping plan.
Use the following checklist to define the package you need. It describes configuration choices, not a standard inclusion list.
| Item | Details to Select |
|---|---|
| Glass wall and frames | Glazed area, fixed panels, opening sections, frame material and color, glass build-up and thickness. |
| Doors and windows | Entrance position, opening type, ventilation, and access to any terrace. |
| Insulated panels | Wall and roof panel thickness, insulation core, and finish for the intended climate. |
| Room layout | Bedroom count, living area, partitions, kitchen position, and bathroom arrangement. |
| Interior package | Floor finish, cabinets, bathroom fixtures, lighting, and other requested fittings. |
| Electrical and plumbing | Destination voltage, socket type, required equipment, and water and drainage connection positions. |
| Exterior additions | Requested deck, canopy, cladding, or roof features for a feasibility review. |
Glass-wall specifications are separate from window specifications. Your quotation and approved drawing will identify the selected glazing, materials, included fittings, and optional additions.
The house travels in a folded configuration and opens at the installation site. Plan vehicle access, suitable unloading equipment, prepared supports, and enough working space for the side sections.
Before dispatch, agree on the unloading method, lifting points, support layout, installation responsibilities, and utility connections for your selected unit. Opening the structure is one stage of installation; site preparation and service connections also need to be arranged.

Start with your required rooms, furniture sizes, and available site space. The series references above show approximate footprints of 37, 56, and 74 m². Send your preferred size to check the available glass-side configuration.
Send a sketch or list of the rooms you need. YJD can review partition positions, door access, kitchen and bathroom locations alongside the expandable structure.
The glass type, thickness, frame, and opening arrangement are specified for the selected package. Ask for these details in your quotation; a double-glazed window specification does not automatically describe the glass wall.
These depend on the package ordered. The quotation will list supplied fixtures and fittings separately from optional exterior additions. Illustration images are not an inclusion list.
Size, glazed area, glass and frame specification, insulation, interior fittings, order quantity, and delivery terms affect the quotation. Provide your destination and requested package for an itemized price.
Plan delivery access, unloading equipment, supports, expansion clearance, and utility connections. Use the model-specific drawings and installation instructions to arrange site work and any required local approvals.
Send your destination country, quantity, preferred size, and room requirements. Add a sketch or reference photo if you have one.
